Disclosed is a power generation device, comprising an escapement mechanism and a power generation mechanism. The escapement mechanism comprises a fixing support (30) and an oscillating system (40) movably connected to the fixing support (30). The power generation mechanism comprises a coil (10) and a magnetic member (20), wherein the magnetic member (20) is fixedly connected to the oscillating system (40); the coil (10) is fixedly connected to the fixing support (30); and the magnetic member (20) is extended into the coil (10) and the two form a cooperative reciprocating motion in an axial direction. By means of combining the escapement mechanism and the power generation mechanism, and using the escapement mechanism to provide kinetic energy and using the power generation mechanism to convert the kinetic energy into electric energy, the object of power generation is realized. Since the escapement mechanism has a small and exquisite structure, the volume of the power generation device is reduced, and the portability of the power generation device is improved, the escapement mechanism moves continuously, and the conversion efficiency is high, and therefore, the power generation output is relatively high.
