The automatic watering intelligent flowerpot system comprises a temperature and humidity detection module, a light detection module, a water injection module and a control module that are disposed in a flowerpot. The temperature and humidity detection module is used for detecting temperature and humidity information of soil in the flowerpot, and sending the information to the control module. The light detection module is used for detecting light intensity information at the position of the flowerpot, and sending the information to the control module. The water injection module is used for injecting water into the soil in the pot under the control of the control module. The control module performs analysis according to the detection information sent by the temperature and humidity detection module and the light detection module, and then, determines whether the soil in the flowerpot needs to be watered; and when determining that the watering is needed, the control module sends a control instruction to the water injection module. By means of the flowerpot, the intelligent care of plants can be implemented, and the plants can be automatically watered according to environment changes.
