Abstract:
(EN) Methods and systems for establishing a kinetic model input function (IF) in positron emission tomography and single-photon emission computed tomography are provided. A position of interaction along a scintillating fiber coil is determined by: detecting a first plurality and second plurality of photons at first and second ends of the scintillating fiber coil; associating the first plurality of photons and the second plurality of photons with the interaction event based on a timing parameter; and determining a position of interaction for the interaction event based on a comparison between a first parameter of the first plurality of photons and a second parameter of the photons in the second plurality of photons.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes pour établir une fonction d’entrée (IF) de modèle cinétique en tomographie par émission de positons et tomographie par émission monophotonique. Une position d’interaction le long d’une bobine de fibre scintillante est déterminée par : détection d’une première pluralité et d’une deuxième pluralité de photons aux première et deuxième extrémités de la bobine de fibre scintillante ; association de la première pluralité de photons et la deuxième pluralité de photons à l’événement d’interaction sur la base d’un paramètre de synchronisation ; et détermination d’une position d’interaction pour l’événement d’interaction sur la base d’une comparaison entre un premier paramètre de la première pluralité de photons et un deuxième paramètre des photons dans la deuxième pluralité de photons.
