Abstract

The present invention relates to an improved process and system for purifying a gas, preferably an energy gas, containing aromatic compounds and isolating a fraction of aromatic compounds from said gas. In the process according to the invention, the gas is contacted with a washing liquid in step (a), at a temperature of 15 –250 °C, to obtain a purified gas, which is depleted in aromatic compounds, and a spent washing liquid wherein the aromatic compounds are dissolved. The spent washing liquid is stripped in step (b) with a stripping gas comprising at least 0 vol.% steam, to obtain a stripped washing liquid which is advantageously reused in step (a) and a loaded stripping gas comprising the aromatic compounds. The aromatic compounds are separated from the loaded stripping gas in step (c) by condensation of the steam and/or the aromatic compounds comprised in the loaded stripping gas to obtain an immiscible composition and isolating the aromatic compounds therefrom. The cleared stripping gas which is advantageously reused in step (b).

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système améliorés permettant de purifier un gaz, de préférence un gaz à énergie, contenant des composés aromatiques et d'isoler une fraction de composés aromatiques contenus dans ledit gaz. Dans le procédé selon l'invention, le gaz est mis en contact avec un liquide de lavage lors d'une étape (a), à une température de 15 à 250 °C, pour obtenir un gaz purifié, qui est appauvri en composés aromatiques, et un liquide de lavage usé dans lequel sont dissous lesdits composés aromatiques. Le liquide de lavage usé est soumis à un processus d'extraction à l'étape (b) avec un gaz d'extraction comprenant au moins 0 % en volume de vapeur, pour obtenir un liquide de lavage soumis à extraction qui est avantageusement réutilisé dans l'étape (a) et un gaz d'extraction chargé comprenant les composés aromatiques. Les composés aromatiques sont séparés du gaz d'extraction chargé à l'étape (c) par condensation de la vapeur et/ou des composés aromatiques contenus dans le gaz d'extraction chargé pour obtenir une composition non miscible, et isolement des composés aromatiques à partir de celle-ci. Le gaz d'extraction épuré est avantageusement réutilisé à l'étape (b).
