Abstract

Disclosed is a heater comprising a ceramic heater element and at least two fins for dissipating heat from the ceramic heater element, wherein the ceramic heater element extends along a plane in one dimension and the at least two fins extend away from the plane, and wherein the at least two fins are connected to the ceramic heater element via discrete connecting portions. Also disclose is a method of manufacturing such as heater comprising the steps of: (a) applying a filler material to a surface of the ceramic heater element; (b) positioning a metal fin over the filler material to produce a heater template; (c) brazing the heater template in a furnace at a temperature of between 750°C and 900°C to melt the filler and cause the filler and the ceramic heater element to react together.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de chauffage comprenant un élément chauffant en céramique et au moins deux ailettes servant à dissiper la chaleur provenant de l'élément chauffant en céramique, l'élément chauffant en céramique s'étendant le long d'un plan dans une dimension, et lesdites ailettes s'étendant dans le prolongement du plan et étant reliées à l'élément chauffant en céramique par l'intermédiaire de parties de liaison discrètes. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un tel dispositif de chauffage comprenant les étapes consistant : (a) à appliquer une matière de charge sur une surface de l'élément chauffant en céramique ; (b) à positionner une ailette métallique sur la matière de charge de façon à produire un gabarit de chauffage ; (c) à braser le gabarit de chauffage dans un four à une température comprise entre 750 °C et 900 °C de façon à faire fondre la charge et amener cette dernière à réagir avec l'élément chauffant en céramique.
