Abstract:
(EN) Systems and devices are provided in which an RF wireless bridge is employed to facilitate indirect transmission of communication signals between external devices located outside of an electromagnetically shielding enclosure within internal devices located within the enclosure, via the intermediate transmission of RF waves through an RF attenuating window forming a portion of the enclosure. The wireless bridge is formed from a first RF communication device located within the electromagnetically shielding enclosure, and a second RF communication device located outside of the enclosure, where the two RF communication devices are positioned with sufficient proximity such that the wireless bridge facilitates indirect communication through the RF attenuating window despite attenuation of RF energy by the RF attenuating window. In another example embodiment, the electromagnetically shielding enclosure may enclose at least a portion of the first RF communication device to reduce noise that could impact the performance of the magnetic resonance scanner.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des dispositifs dans lesquels un pont sans fil RF est employé pour permettre la transmission indirecte de signaux de communication entre des dispositifs externes situés à l'extérieur d'une enceinte de blindage électromagnétique et des dispositifs internes situés dans l'enceinte, au moyen de la transmission intermédiaire d'ondes RF à travers une fenêtre d'atténuation RF formant une partie de l'enceinte. Le pont sans fil est formé à partir d'un premier dispositif de communication RF situé à l'intérieur de l'enceinte de blindage électromagnétique et d'un second dispositif de communication RF situé à l'extérieur de l'enceinte, les deux dispositifs de communication RF étant positionnés avec une proximité suffisante de telle sorte que le pont sans fil permet une communication indirecte à travers la fenêtre d'atténuation RF malgré l'atténuation de l'énergie RF par la fenêtre d'atténuation RF. Dans un autre mode de réalisation donné à titre d'exemple, l'enceinte de blindage électromagnétique peut renfermer au moins une partie du premier dispositif de communication RF afin de réduire le bruit qui pourrait affecter la performance de l'appareil d'imagerie par résonance magnétique.
