Abstract:
(EN) A tissue holder assembly (300) for receiving and imaging severed tissue samples from a biopsy device includes a base (240) and a cover (302) removably attached to the base to define an interior, the base having one or more vacuum lumens (208,224) in communication with the interior, the assembly further including a tissue tray (18) removably and rotatably mounted in the interior, wherein a bottom of the tissue tray comprises a filter material (24) that allows fluid to pass through. The cover has a tissue sample entry port (42) formed therein and configured direct severed tissue samples and fluid aspirated therethrough into a respective tissue storage compartment of the tissue tray positioned under the tissue sample entry port, wherein the base includes a raised surface (202) underlying at least a portion of the tissue tray circumferentially spaced apart from the tissue sample entry port when the cover is attached to the base.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un ensemble porte-tissus (300) permettant de recevoir et d'imager des échantillons tissulaires coupés en provenance d'un dispositif de biopsie, et qui comprend une base (240) et un couvercle (302) fixé amovible à la base de sorte à délimiter un espace intérieur, la base ayant une ou plusieurs lumières vides (208, 224) en communication avec l'intérieur, l'ensemble comprenant en outre un plateau à tissus (18) monté amovible et rotatif dans l'espace intérieur, une partie inférieure du plateau à tissus comprenant un matériau de filtre (24) à travers lequel peut passer le fluide.
