Abstract:
(EN) A method of object status detection for objects supported by a shelf, from shelf image data, includes: obtaining a plurality of images of a shelf, each image including an indication of a gap on the shelf between the objects; registering the images to a common frame of reference; identifying a subset of the gaps having overlapping locations in the common frame of reference; generating a consolidated gap indication from the subset; obtaining reference data including (i) identifiers for the objects and (ii) prescribed locations for the objects within the common frame of reference; based on a comparison of the consolidated gap indication with the reference data, selecting a target object identifier from the reference data; and generating and presenting a status notification for the target product identifier.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de détection d'état d'objet pour des objets supportés par une étagère, à partir de données d'image d'étagère, comprenant : l'obtention d'une pluralité d'images d'une étagère, chaque image contenant une indication d'un espace sur l'étagère entre les objets ; l'enregistrement des images sur une trame de référence commune ; l'identification d'un sous-ensemble des espaces ayant des emplacements qui se chevauchent dans la trame de référence commune ; la génération d'une indication d'intervalle consolidé à partir du sous-ensemble ; l'obtention de données de référence contenant (i) des identifiants pour les objets et (ii) des emplacements prescrits pour les objets à l'intérieur de la trame de référence commune ; sur la base d'une comparaison de l'indication d'intervalle consolidé avec les données de référence, la sélection d'un identifiant d'objet cible à partir des données de référence ; et la génération et la présentation d'une notification d'état pour l'identifiant de produit cible.
