Abstract:
(EN) A device for holding samples to be analyzed using the infrared transmission spectroscopy comprised of three or more infrared transparent windows that creates unparalleled gaps while maintaining a consistent path length, which eliminates interference fringes and ensures that quantitative analysis can be achieved. The present invention allows the use of high refractive index material, silicon, as window material. The device using silicon windows can serve both purposes of sample storage and infrared measuring cell. All-purpose disposable sample holders are now possible. In one embodiment, a pre- assembled sample holder is most suitable for loading and analyzing flowable liquid samples. In another embodiment, a sample holder can be easily assembled after high-viscosity fluids and deformable solid samples are loaded. In an alternative embodiment, the device comprised of two or more infrared transparent windows and a reflective mirror can be used for quantitative analysis using transflection infrared spectroscopy.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un dispositif pour supporter des échantillons à analyser en spectroscopie à transmission infrarouge comprenant trois fenêtres transparentes à l'infrarouge ou plus qui créent des espaces non parallèles tout en conservant une longueur de trajet constante, ce qui élimine les franges d'interférence et garantit qu'une analyse quantitative peut être obtenue. La présente invention permet l'utilisation d'un matériau à indice de réfraction élevé, le silicium, à titre de matériau de fenêtre. Le dispositif à fenêtres en silicium peut servir à la fois de cellule de stockage d'échantillons et de mesure infrarouge. Des porte-échantillons tous usages jetables peuvent désormais être obtenus. Dans un mode de réalisation, un porte-échantillon pré-assemblé est le plus approprié pour charger et analyser des échantillons liquides doués d'écoulement. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, un porte-échantillon peut être facilement assemblé après que des fluides à viscosité élevée et des échantillons solides déformables sont chargés. Dans un autre mode de réalisation encore, le dispositif comprenant au moins deux fenêtres transparentes à l'infrarouge et un miroir réfléchissant peut être utilisé pour une analyse quantitative par spectroscopie infrarouge en transflexion.
