Abstract:
A power management apparatus (20) has: an execution pattern determination unit (22) that extracts, as execution patterns, a plurality of execution candidate time periods equal in length to the actually requested demand response continuance time and a plurality of execution candidate time periods shorter than the demand response continuance time from among execution time periods during which a demand response is potentially requested from an electric utility; a surplus power calculation unit (25) that calculates surplus power which can be supplied from each facility during each execution candidate time period; a total surplus power amount calculation unit (26) that calculates the total surplus power amount which can be supplied from a consumer during each execution candidate time period on the basis of the surplus power of each facility; and an information providing unit (27) that provides information by transmitting to an aggregator the calculated total surplus power amount for each execution candidate time period.
