Abstract:
The claimed method consists of projecting a light beam onto an eye, the light beam passing through an opaque object with zones that let light through to a greater or lesser extent, before contacting the eye, in such a way that light is received by the eye through different, lighter and darker zones; of capturing a series of Purkinje images of the eye produced by the reflection of the light beam every time the eye medium changes, including the surfaces of the cornea and the surfaces of the crystalline lens; and of separately calculating the associated intraocular diffusion for each of the different eye media by processing the captured Purkinje images, measuring light distribution in two or more of the Purkinje images.
