Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor arrangement and to a method for generating a position change signal sequence using such a sensor arrangement, comprising: a multipole encoder (02) comprising a plurality of pole pairs (03) which are adjacent to one another and provide a scanning plane (04) with magnetic poles alternating in a scanning direction, and a magnetic field sensor (01) which generates a first output voltage on the basis of a vertical component of an external magnetic field, a second output voltage on the basis of a horizontal component of the external magnetic field and a third output voltage on the basis of a horizontal component of the magnetic field. In order to generate a greater number of pulses without having to increase the number of pole pairs in the multipole encoder (02) to the same extent, the magnetic pole pairs (03) of the multipole encoder (02) and the magnetic field sensor (01) are rotated with respect to one another in such a manner that the horizontal field strength generates an x' output voltage (08) and a y' output voltage (09) which have substantially the same amplitude. A switching signal pulse in the position change signal sequence (10) is output at each zero crossing of the first output voltage z' (07), of the x' output voltage (08) and of the y' output voltage (09) and in the event of any similarity between the first output voltage (07) and the x' output voltage (08) and/or y' output voltage (09).
