Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of optical transmission chips supporting time synchronization, and specifically relates to a method and a system for controlling a PTP message in an optical transmission chip supporting a transmission rate of over 100G/s. The method comprises the steps of: providing a PTP message control mark at the tail portion of the PTP message; writing an Ethernet service channel message in a selected PTP writing cache space; if the PTP message control mark of the currently written Ethernet service channel message is valid, writing, in the current cache space, package description information of the PTP message; using other PTP caches as PTP writing caches and writing the message again; and when there is a non-empty PTP cache, reading the PTP message in the PTP cache. The present invention can practically and efficiently complete the control of the optical transmission chip to the PTP message, thereby increasing the control efficiency and processing performance of the optical transmission chip supporting a transmission rate of over 100G/s to the PTP message, and reducing the design scale and costs for the optical transmission chip supporting a transmission rate of over 100G/s to support IEEE1588V2 high-precision time synchronization function.
