Title: BACKLIGHT MODULE AND DISPLAY DEVICE
Abstract:
A backlight module (501) and a display device, the backlight module comprising: a light source (101, 301), which emits at least a first type of light ray, and at least two light conversion films (102, 1021, 1022, 202, 2021, 2022, 302, 3021, 3022); at least one light conversion film (1021, 1022, 2021, 2022, 3021, 3022) receives the first type of light ray and converts said light ray into at least a second type of light ray such that the light emission angle of the backlight module (501) matches a wide viewing angle display requirement. The present invention may increase the light emission angle of the backlight module (501) to attain a wide viewing angle effect, while the backlight module is provided with at least two light conversion films (102, 1021, 1022, 202, 2021, 2022, 302, 3021, 3022) which may scatter emergent light while reflecting a part of the light back, then carrying out excitation again to emit light, thereby improving the light utilization rate, enhancing light brightness, and having a better display effect.
