A method for use in preparing an intelligent chromogenic antibacterial anti-oxidation protective film, comprising the steps of: preparing a polyvinyl alcohol mother liquor; then adding nano-titanium dioxide to prepare a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-nano-TiO2 mixed solution; fully stirring and, by means of casting the solution on a glass plate, drying in an oven to form a film; then measuring the mechanical properties and antibacterial properties thereof; screening the optimal addition ratio of nano-TiO2; separately preparing a purple sweet potato anthocyanin solution; adding the same into a solution having the optimal mixing ratio of PVA-nano-TiO2; fully stirring and, by means of casting the solution on a glass plate, drying in an oven to form a film. The film has good mechanical properties compared with other sugar and protein films, and the combination of the antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties thereof may better extend the shelf life of food; the film may exhibit different colors in different pH environments, the film combining chromogenic, antibacterial and anti-oxidation properties to have a wide range of uses in the field of food packaging.
