The digital television terminal comprises a main controller, a video signal receiver, a standby signal receiver, a television control module, a display module and an internet module. The video source terminal is connected to an input end of the main controller by means of the video signal receiving module. The standby signal transmitting device is connected to an input end of the main controller by means of the standby signal receiver. An output end of the main controller is connected to an input end of a television control module, and an output end of the television control module is connected to both the display module and the internet module. The digital television system of the present invention has high device integration, a simple design structure, and a low cost, and can provide a user with internet service whilst in a standby state.
