Abstract:
(EN) A method for separating particles in a biofluid includes pretreating the biofluid by introducing an additive, flowing the pretreated biofluid through a microfluidic separation channel, and applying acoustic energy to the microfluidic separation channel. A system for microfluidic separation, capable of separating target particles (18) from non-target particles (16, 20) in a biofluid includes at least one microfluidic separation channel (28), a source of biofluid, a source of additive, and at least one acoustic transducer coupled to the microfluidic separation channel. A kit for microfluidic particle separation includes a microfluidic separation channel connected to an acoustic transducer, a source of an additive, and instructions for use.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de séparation de particules dans un biofluide qui comprend le prétraitement du biofluide par introduction d'un additif, l'écoulement du biofluide prétraité dans un canal de séparation microfluidique et l'application d'énergie acoustique au canal de séparation microfluidique. Un système de séparation microfluidique, apte à séparer des particules cibles (18) des particules non cibles (16, 20) dans un biofluide, comprend au moins un canal de séparation microfluidique (28), une source de biofluide, une source d'additif et au moins un transducteur acoustique couplé au canal de séparation microfluidique.
