Abstract:
(EN) Methods of growing oleaginous microorganisms and simultaneously inducing lipid accumulation in a single-stage process are described. The single-stage methods couple carbon and nitrogen source feeding throughout the life of the culture to trigger an early lipid accumulation and longer sustained maximum productivity in the cells. The increased productivity may be captured by periodic harvesting of the overflow of the reactor fermentation.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés de culture de micro-organismes oléagineux et d'induction simultanée de l'accumulation de lipides dans un procédé en une seule étape. Les procédés en une seule étape couplent l'alimentation en source de carbone et d'azote pendant toute la durée de vie de la culture pour déclencher une accumulation de lipides précoce et une productivité maximale soutenue plus longtemps dans les cellules. La productivité accrue peut être captée par récolte périodique du trop-plein de la fermentation du réacteur.
