Abstract:
(EN) A surface-confined aqueous reversible addition−fragmentation chain transfer (SCARAFT) polymerization method was developed to coat capillaries for use in capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE). This coating produced an electroosmotic an order of magnitude lower than that of commercial linear polyacrylamide (LPA)-coated capillaries. Coated 5 capillaries were evaluated for bottom-up proteomic analysis using CZE. The very low electroosmotic mobility results in a 200 min separation and improved single-shot analysis. Various types of coatings were prepared by simply changing the functional vinyl monomers in the polymerization mixture.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de polymérisation par transfert de chaîne à fragmentation réversible aqueux à confinement de surface (SCARAFT) qui a été développé pour revêtir des capillaires destinés à être utilisés dans l'électrophorèse de zone capillaire (CZE). Ce revêtement produit un ordre de grandeur électro-osmotique inférieur à celui de capillaires revêtus de polyacrylamide linéaire commercial (LPA). Des capillaires 5 enrobés ont été évalués pour une analyse protéomique de fond à l'aide de CZE. La très faible mobilité électro-osmotique permet d'obtenir une séparation de 200 min et une analyse à enregistrement unique améliorée. Divers types de revêtements ont été préparés en changeant simplement les monomères vinyliques fonctionnels dans le mélange de polymérisation.
