The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for transmitting signals from a device towards various portions of a smart fabric. The apparatus comprises five components: 1. Electronic or optoelectronic device; 2. Preferably magnetic attachment connectors; 3. Socket for independently transmitting the signals from the device to the smart fabric; 4. Exclusively textile interface for transmitting the signals to various sections of the smart fabric; and 5. Casing of the apparatus for holding the device, socket and textile interface. The method includes five corresponding implementation phases: 1. Preparing the device; 2. Inserting and securing the preferably magnetic attachment connectors; 3. Connecting the textile interface and socket to the smart fabric; 4. Electronic attachment of socket and textile interface using material transfer techniques; and 5. Integrating the casing into the smart fabric. The apparatus can be integrated into fabrics used for safety, education, health, services, etc.
