Title: PREPARATION METHOD OF HIGH-SURVIVAL RATE AND HIGH-FUNCTIONALITY ENDOCRINE CELL CLUSTER
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an endocrine cell cluster of high survival rate and high functionality using a hydrophobicity-substituted glycol chitosan derivative having temperature responsiveness and a preparation method therefor. A hydrophobicity-substituted glycol chitosan derivative having temperature responsiveness according to the present invention is helpful for forming pancreatic islet cell clusters and the clusters formed are found to maintain insulin secretion capacity, as well. Accordingly, the glycol chitosan derivative is expected to find a broad spectrum of applications in the fields including the delivery of therapeutic drugs targeting pancreatic islet cells, the cultivation of pancreatic islet cells, etc.
