Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure relates to technology for a sensor network, machine to machine communication (M2M), machine type communication (MTC), and the Internet of things (IoT). The present disclosure can be used for an intelligent service (a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related service, etc.) on the basis of the technology. A mobility management entity (MME) apparatus in a wireless communication system includes a transmission/reception unit and a control unit functionally connected to the transmission/reception unit, wherein the control unit is configured to: determine a timer value used to allow a terminal supporting a power saving mode (PSM) to perform transition from a PSM state to an idle mode state; and control the transmission/reception unit so as to transmit, to the terminal, a message including information related to the determined timer value, and the timer value is determined on the basis of one of a mobile terminated (MT) data occurrence expectation time point and a mobile terminated data reception target value, pre-configured in the MME.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une technologie destinée à un réseau de capteurs, à une communication machine-machine (M2M), à une communication de type machine (MTC), et à l'Internet des objets (IoT). La présente invention peut être appliquée à un service intelligent (par exemple, une maison intelligente, un bâtiment intelligent, une ville intelligente, une voiture intelligente ou connectée, des soins de santé, l'éducation numérique, le commerce de détail, la sécurité et un service lié à la sécurité, etc.) sur la base de la technologie. (KO) 본 개시는 센서 네트워크(Sensor Network), 사물 통신(Machine to Machine, M2M), MTC(Machine Type Communication) 및 사물 인터넷(Internet of Things, IoT)을 위한 기술과 관련된 것이다. 본 개시는 상기 기술을 기반으로 하는 지능형 서비스(스마트 홈, 스마트 빌딩, 스마트 시티, 스마트 카 혹은 커넥티드 카, 헬스 케어, 디지털 교육, 소매업, 보안 및 안전 관련 서비스 등)에 활용될 수 있다. 무선 통신 시스템에서 이동성 관리 처리부(mobility management entity, MME) 장치는 송수신부와 상기 송수신부와 기능적으로 결합된 제어부를 포함하고, 상기 제어부는 파워 세이빙 모드(power saving mode, PSM)을 지원하는 단말(terminal)이 PSM 상태에서 유휴 모드(Idle mode) 상태로 천이(transition)하기 위하여 이용되는 타이머(timer) 값을 결정하고, 상기 결정된 타이머 값에 관한 정보를 포함하는 메시지를 상기 단말에게 송신하도록 상기 송수신부를 제어하도록 구성되며, 상기 타이머 값은, 착신(mobile terminated, MT) 데이터 예상 발생 시점(time point)과 상기 MME에게 미리 설정된 착신 데이터 목표(target) 수신 값 중 어느 하나에 기반하여 결정된다.
