Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a method for estimating an adaptive bidirectional optical flow (BIO) for inter prediction correction in a video coding process. A purpose of the present invention is to reduce the complexity and/or cost of a bidirectional optical flow at a pixel level or sub-block level. A BIO motion vector is determined on the basis of the flow difference obtained with respect to all masked pixels located in a masking window centered on a corresponding pixel.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé d'estimation d'un flux optique bidirectionnel adaptatif (BIO) à des fins de correction inter-prédiction pour un traitement de codage vidéo. L'objet de la présente invention est de réduire la complexité et/ou le coût d'un flux optique bidirectionnel à un niveau de pixel ou à un niveau de sous-bloc. Un vecteur de mouvement de BIO est déterminé sur la base de la différence de flux obtenue par rapport à tous les pixels masqués situés dans une fenêtre de masquage centrée sur un pixel correspondant.
(KO) 본 발명은 동영상 부호화 과정 중에서 화면 간 예측 보정을 위한 적응적인 양방향 옵티컬 플로우(bidirectional optical flow; BIO) 추정 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명은 픽셀 레벨 혹은 서브 블록 레벨의 양방향 옵티컬 플로우의 복잡성 및/또는 비용을 감소시키는 데 그 목적이 있다. BIO 움직임 벡터는 해당 픽셀을 중심으로 하는 마스킹 윈도우 내에 위치하는 모든 마스킹 픽셀에 대하여 얻어지는 플로우 차이를 바탕으로 결정된다.
