Abstract:
Provided are a latent image printed matter of a solid formulation having on a surface thereof a latent image that can be made visible by irradiation of ultraviolet rays having a specific wavelength band, and an imaging method therefor. The latent image printed matter of a solid formulation according to the present invention is a latent image printed matter of a solid formulation 10 having a latent image in at least a part of a surface thereof, characterized in that: the latent image printed matter includes at least a latent image region A in which a latent image is formed by a latent image ink layer 11 that absorbs ultraviolet rays having a wavelength band of 200 nm or more and less than 400 nm and a non-latent image region B that reflects ultraviolet rays having at least the above wavelength band and/or emits fluorescence; a difference in gradation value of the latent image region A with respect to the non-latent image region B when visible light is irradiated onto the latent image region A and the non-latent image region B is less than five; and the difference in gradation value of the latent image region A with respect to the non-latent image region B when light containing the ultraviolet rays having at least the above wavelength band is irradiated onto the latent image region A and the non-latent image region B is five or more.
