Abstract:
In the present invention, image data that is generated by a sensor included in an imaging unit (11) and that contains component data for each color component that has been A-D converted by an A-D conversion unit (12) is stored in a memory (13). A width detection unit (15) detects, on the basis of the image data that has been subjected to image processing by an image processing unit (14), the width in a main scanning direction of an overlapping region in which image data sets generated by adjacent sensors overlap each other. A displacement detection unit (16) detects, from the width in the main scanning direction of the overlapping region, the displacement of an object to be read for each optical system of the imaging unit (11). A first blur correction unit (17) performs blur correction of the component data using a PSF (Point Spread Function) of each color component according to the displacement of the object to be read. An adjustment unit (18) adjusts, on the basis of a transfer magnification corresponding to the displacement of the object to be read, the size of an image for each color component indicated by the component data. A composite unit (19) superposes and composites portions of the component data.
