The present invention addresses the problem of providing a wind turbine generator system comprising a wind turbine generator device having an impeller inside a duct, the wind turbine generator system being capable of reducing the occurrence of turbulent air flow inside the duct, sufficiently increasing the speed of wind inside the duct, and improving the amount of power generated and the power generation efficiency. This problem is resolved by a wind turbine generation system comprising: a wind turbine generation device having at least a duct formed so that a longitudinal cross-section, which is sectioned along a center axis, has a substantial streamline shape, an impeller disposed inside the duct, and a power generator that generates power by the rotation of the impeller; an anemovane installed so as to be capable of measuring wind direction and wind force in the vicinity of the wind turbine generation device; a rotating pedestal that rotatably supports the wind turbine generation device along a support surface; and a control device that controls the rotational angle of the rotating pedestal on the basis of the wind direction and wind force measured by the anemovane.
