Abstract:
Provided is a technology for an engine system provided with a selective reduction catalyst system which makes it possible for a reducing agent adding unit to be cooled appropriately, and for a reducing agent that has become frozen in a reducing agent storage unit to be thawed in a short time, while a reasonable and simple configuration is adopted. This engine system is provided with: a reducing agent adding unit 20 for adding a reducing agent to an exhaust passage 7 on an upstream side of a selective reduction catalyst unit 13; a reducing agent storage unit 31 which stores the reducing agent to be supplied to the reducing agent adding unit 20; an adding unit heat exchange unit 20a provided in the reducing agent adding unit 20; and a storage unit heat exchange unit 31a provided in the reducing agent storage unit 31; wherein the engine system is also provided with a supply state switching means 59 capable of switching a supply state of return engine cooling water CW from the adding unit heat exchange unit 20a between a storage unit supply state in which the return engine cooling water CW is supplied as outward engine cooling water CW to the storage unit heat exchange unit 31a, and a storage unit non-supply state in which the return engine cooling water CW is returned to an engine 1 side, bypassing the storage unit heat exchange unit 31a.
