Title: ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, IMAGING DEVICE, AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE
Abstract:
An electrophotographic photoreceptor (1) is provided with an electrically conductive base (2) and a photosensitive layer (3). The photosensitive layer (3) has a charge generation layer (3a) and a charge transport layer (3b). The charge generation layer (3a) contains a charge generator. The charge transport layer (3b) contains a hole-transport agent, a binder resin and an electron acceptor compound. The binder resin contains a polyarylate resin having a repeating unit represented by general formula (1). The electron acceptor compound comprises compounds respectively represented by general formulae (E1) to (E4). In general formula (1), s represents a numerical value of 1 to 100 inclusive and u represents a numerical value of 0 to 99 inclusive, wherein s + u = 100; and X and Y independently represent a bivalent group represented by chemical formula (1A), chemical formula (1B), (1C), (1D), (1E) or (1F).
