Abstract:
This measurement device is provided with: a projection unit for projecting, onto a subject, pulsed light or light, the intensity of which is modulated periodically; an imaging unit that has a plurality of pixels and is for outputting a plurality of image signals through multiple imagings of light that has been projected by the projection unit and backscattered by the subject; a selection unit for selecting, for each pixel, the image signal from among the plurality of image signals that is closest to a standard light amount; and a characteristic calculation unit for calculating, for each pixel, TOF information for when the image signal selected by the selection unit was imaged and calculating a characteristic of the subject on the basis of the TOF information. As a result, a measurement device is provided that is capable of highly reliable TOF information measurement regardless of the amount of backscattered light.
