Abstract:
This endoscope 9 is provided with an imaging module 1. The imaging module 1 is provided with: an imaging unit 10 having a light receiving surface 10SA and a back surface 10SB; and a laminated optical unit 20 in which a plurality of optical members 21-25 each of which has a front surface 20SA and a rear surface 20SB adhered to the light receiving surface 10SA are laminated, wherein the rear surface 20SB is larger in area than the light receiving surface 10SA, a first aspect ratio (L1/W1) which is the ratio of a length L1 of the imaging unit 10 in the optical axis direction to a width W1 of the imaging unit 10 in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis is 1.5 or less, and a second aspect ratio (L2/W2) which is the ratio of a length L2 of the laminated optical unit 20 in the optical axis direction to a width W2 of the laminated optical unit 20 in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis is 2.0 or greater.
