Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method for depositing a coating (1) of an item including a substrate (5) and, specifically, to a method for hardening a layer of gold forming a coating on the substrate, the method comprising the steps of: providing said substrate (5); galvanically depositing a first layer of gold including a first type of gold and hardening particles (3) on the substrate (5); and galvanically depositing an external layer of gold (4) on the first layer of gold (2). The method of the invention makes it possible to deposit a coating having an appearance comparable to that of a conventional coating of a precious metal, but with higher hardness than that of such a conventional coating.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de dépôt d'un revêtement (1) d'un article comportant un substrat (5) et plus particulièrement un procédé de durcissement d'une couche d'or formant un revêtement sur le substrat, le procédé comprenant les étapes de: fournir ledit substrat (5);déposer de manière galvanique sur le substrat (5), une première couche d'or comportant un premier type d'or et des particules de durcissement (3); et déposer de manière galvanique sur la première couche d'or (2), une couche d'or externe (4). Le procédé de l'invention permet de déposer un revêtement ayant un aspect comparable à celui d'un revêtement conventionnel d'un métal noble, mais avec une dureté plus élevée que celle d'un tel revêtement conventionnel.
