Title: METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING THE WHEELS OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for identifying, by way of a central unit emdedded in a motor vehicle, the wheels of a motor vehicle, implementing a method for locating a deficient transmission zone (Bs), using radiofrequency, between a wheel unit fitted to a motor vehicle wheel and a central wheel monitoring unit embedded in the vehicle, wheel angle coding that is independent of the transmission additionally being carried out in order to measure the actual rotation of the wheel at a given instant. A stream of consecutive frames (T1 to T3) is emitted from the wheel unit, having complete angular coverage of the wheel, a rate of reception of frames (T1 to T3) being established and analysed in order to detect at least one zone of least reception that corresponds to said at least one deficient transmission zone (Bs), the angle coding giving an angle of rotation of the wheel at the instant of the detection of said at least one deficient transmission zone (Bs).
