Title: METHOD FOR THE COMPUTER-AIDED ANALYSIS OF THE OPERATION OF A PRODUCTION SYSTEM
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the computer-aided analysis of the operation of a production system (PS), wherein digital data, in the form of a plurality of temporally successive event sequences (ES), is processed, the sequences each comprising a plurality of operational events (E1, E2, ..., En) occurring temporally in succession, which operational events each contain an operating message which has been generated during the operation of the production system (PS). In the method according to the invention, the operational events (E1, E2, ..., En) are linked to digital context information (CI), as a result of which event sequences (ES) which are composed of a plurality of digital entities (EN) are formed. Next, digital representation vectors (V) are calculated by way of unsupervised representation learning (RL) using these entities as training data. The representation learning takes place based on a similarity function which describes the similarity of one entity (EN) to the other entities (EN) in the same event sequence (ES). The method according to the invention provides a robust representation both of operational events and context information linked thereto. This representation can then be suitably processed further in order to obtain meaningful information about the production system.
