Abstract:
The invention is directed to a pressure sensor verification device (1), particularly for verification and/or calibration of a dynamic pressure sensor, and also methods of manufacturing and operation of this. The device (1) comprises a body (2) comprising a fluid channel (3) for guiding a pressurised fluid (13), an input port (12) of the body (2) for the fluid channel (3), via which the pressurised fluid (13) is providable to the fluid channel (3), a frequency adjustment component (10) located at a first position (41) in the fluid channel (3) for setting and/or adjusting a frequency of fluid oscillations within the fluid channel (3), an amplitude adjustment component (11) located at a second position (42) in the fluid channel (3) for setting and/or adjusting an amplitude of the fluid oscillations within the fluid channel (3), a first aperture (20) in the body (2) to the fluid channel (3), the first aperture (20) being located at a third position (43) and arranged to provide a fluidic connection to a connectable reference pressure sensor (22), a second aperture (21) in the body (2) to the fluid channel (3), the second aperture (21) being located at the third position (43) and arranged to provide a fluidic connection to a connectable, to be verified or to be calibrated pressure sensor (23), and at least one sensor signal output interface (25,26) for providing signals from the pressure sensor (23) and/or signals from the reference pressure sensor (22) during operation.
