Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for the granulation of concentrated and/or aqueous solutions/melts, in particular for the production of fertilizer granules comprising a trough-like housing, in the inside of which at least one shaft (10) that is aligned in a longitudinal direction is rotatably mounted, wherein the shaft is provided with a plurality of projecting arms which extend from the axis of rotation of the shaft approximately radially outwardly, wherein the projecting arms or parts thereof are formed as blade elements (11, 16) or wherein blade elements are attached to the projecting arms, whose outer contours move on an imaginary surface of a rotational body, wherein, due to the arrangement of the blade elements (11, 16), the particles of the fluidized material to be treated are advanced in the longitudinal direction of the housing (direction of flow) and at the same time the particles of the material to be treated are rotated and mixed together by the blade elements (11, 16), at least one of the blade elements (11) being positioned relative to a plane that extends in the transverse direction through the axis of rotation of the shaft, in such a way that said blade element is aligned in an inclined manner when seen in the conveying direction of the material to be treated. According to the invention, at least one other blade element (16) is positioned against the direction of flow of the fluidized material to be treated in such a way that said other blade element is aligned in a reverse inclined manner when seen in the conveying direction of the material to be treated than the plurality of the remaining blade elements on this shaft.
