Abstract:
(EN) A retrofit Light Emitting Diode, LED, tube for connecting to a High Frequency, HF, ballast, which LED tube comprises a switchable capacitor arrangement for ensuring that the ballast does not go into over current protection mode, wherein the switching is controlled based on a desired dimming level of the LED tube. The switchable capacitor arrangement is provided in parallel with said input of said rectifier, and comprises at least a first capacitor and a second capacitor in series, and said control circuit is adapted to configure said switchable capacitor arrangement to conduct the AC power and switch at least one of the first capacitor and the second capacitor between the rectifier and the LED array to block the DC power to said LED array.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un tube à diode électroluminescente (DEL) d'adaptation pour la connexion à un ballast haute fréquence HF, lequel tube à DEL comprend un agencement de condensateur commutable pour assurer que le ballast ne passe pas dans un mode de protection contre le courant, la commutation étant commandée sur la base d'un niveau de gradation souhaité du tube à DEL. L'agencement de condensateur commutable est disposé en parallèle avec ladite entrée dudit redresseur, et comprend au moins un premier condensateur et un second condensateur en série, et ledit circuit de commande étant conçu pour configurer ledit agencement de condensateur commutable pour conduire la puissance alternative et commuter au moins un condensateur parmi le premier condensateur et le second condensateur entre le redresseur et le réseau de DEL pour bloquer la puissance continue vers ledit réseau de DEL.
