Title: RUBBING DETECTION METHOD
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for detecting rubbing of a rotor blade (3) of a rotor element (4) against a housing (5) of a turbomachine (1) surrounding the rotor element (4) and/or for capturing a clearance between these components, wherein the rotor element (4) and the housing (5) are produced from conductive materials, comprising the steps of: a) applying at least one AC output signal, which is produced by a signal source (7) galvanically decoupled from the turbomachine and has a predetermined frequency, to the rotor element (4) in such a manner that the output signal is passed from the signal source (7) through the rotor element (4) back to the signal source (7); b) capturing measured values representing a leakage part of the at least one AC output signal that is diverted via the housing (5) using a measuring device (10) electrically connected to the signal source (7) and to the housing (5), wherein the measured values representing the leakage part are identified using the predetermined frequency; and c) detecting rubbing of a rotor blade (3) against the housing (5) and/or capturing a clearance between these components on the basis of the size and/or the temporal change of the captured measured values.
