Abstract:
Disclosed are a modified multi-component copolymerized aryl amide, a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The polymer is obtained by the solution copolymerization of a naphthalene ring-containing aryl diacyl chloride (or aryl dicarboxylic acid) with an aromatic diamine monomer. The prepared polymer can be dissolved in an organic solvent, such as NMP, DMSO, DMAc, NMP-LiCl or DMF-LiCl, and has a 5% thermal decomposition temperature that can reach 450C or more in air, and a glass transition temperature between 270C and 320C. The polymer may be prepared into the shape of a film, fibres, a hollow tube, a strip, etc. A film prepared from the polymer has a tensile strength than can reach 60 MPa or more, a tensile modulus that can reach 4 GPa, and an elongation at break that can reach 11%. The obtained film has transparency and fluorescence. The material is expected to be useful in the fields of the military, transportation, optics, etc.
