Title: METHOD FOR QUICKLY DESIGNING HANDICRAFT PRODUCT BASED ON 3D TECHNOLOGY
Abstract:
A method for quickly designing a handicraft product based on 3D technology. The method comprises the following steps: (1) using a three-dimensional scanner to carry out three-dimensional scanning on a three-dimensional structure of a handicraft product in a non-contact scanning manner so as to collect structural data information about the handicraft product; (2) using the three-dimensional scanner to carry out scanning on the handicraft product in a non-contact scanning manner a second time, and carrying out partial scanning on a corresponding position of structural data information, which is not obtained in step (1), about the handicraft product; (3) if the structural data information, obtained in step (2), about the handicraft product is still incomplete, using a Geomagic Studio tool to supplement the structural data information until complete structural data information consistent with the physical handicraft product is obtained; (4) converting the obtained structural data information about the handicraft product into three-dimensional data in an STL format; (5) determining a three-dimensional design scheme according to characteristics of design information about the handicraft product, the characteristics of the design information about the handicraft product comprising the material, structure, texture, decoration and use of the handicraft product; and (6) according to the three-dimensional data in step (4) and the three-dimensional design scheme in step (5), carrying out three-dimensional data modeling, and marking a dimensional unit in a three-dimensional digital model, and finally obtaining a three-dimensional digital model of the designed handicraft product. By means of the application of 3D technology and reverse engineering technology, the design method greatly increases the speed of three-dimensional digital designing and modeling of the handicraft product, ensures the precision of a three-dimensional model of the handicraft product, and maintains a high degree of color consistency between a digital model and the handicraft product consistent, and the method can be applied to various fields, such as production, research, storage and display.
