Abstract:
(EN) This bidirectional optical transmission system comprises: a first optical transmission path provided with a first repeater (30A); a second optical transmission path provided with a second repeater (30B); and C+L-band transmission/reception devices (10), (20) connected so as to be communicable via these optical transmission paths. The C+L-band transmission/reception device (10) transmits a C-band optical signal to the first optical transmission path and transmits an L-band optical signal to the second optical transmission path, and the C+L-band transmission/reception device (20) transmits the C-band optical signal to the second optical transmission path and transmits the L-band optical signal to the first optical transmission path. The first repeater (30A) separates the C-band optical signal and the L-band optical signal that propagate bidirectionally through the first optical transmission path, and amplifies the C-band optical signal and the L-band optical signal separately. The second repeater (30B) separates the C-band optical signal and the L-band optical signal that propagate bidirectionally through the second optical transmission path, and amplifies the C-band optical signal and the L-band optical signal separately. Consequently, transmission capacity can be enlarged, and transmission characteristic degradation can be reduced.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de transmission optique bidirectionnelle qui comprend : un premier trajet de transmission optique pourvu d'un premier répéteur (30A) ; un second trajet de transmission optique pourvu d'un second répéteur (30B) ; et des dispositifs d'émission/réception de bande C + L (10), (20) connectés de façon à pouvoir communiquer par l'intermédiaire de ces trajets de transmission optique. Le dispositif d'émission/réception de bande C + L émet un signal optique de bande C vers le premier trajet de transmission optique et émet un signal optique de bande L vers le second trajet de transmission optique, et le dispositif d'émission/réception de bande C + L (20) émet le signal optique de bande C vers le second trajet de transmission optique et émet le signal optique de bande L vers le premier trajet de transmission optique. Le premier répéteur (30A) sépare le signal optique de bande C et le signal optique de bande L qui se propagent de manière bidirectionnelle à travers le premier trajet de transmission optique, et amplifie séparément le signal optique de bande C et le signal optique de bande L.
