Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a method with which it is easy to produce an image display device which can maintain superior optical characteristics even in humid environments, and which prevents color loss. This image display device production method includes: preparing an image display panel equipped with a display cell and a polarizer positioned on at least one side of the display cell; forming a sealing part which covers the peripheral end faces of the image display panel; and cutting the sealing part while leaving a predetermined thickness from the peripheral edges of the image display panel.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire facilement un dispositif d'affichage d'image capable de conserver des caractéristiques optiques supérieures même dans des environnements humides et d'empêcher ainsi une perte de couleur. Ce procédé de production de dispositif d'affichage d'image consiste à : préparer un panneau d'affichage d'image équipé d'une cellule d'affichage et d'un polariseur positionné sur au moins un côté de la cellule d'affichage ; former une partie d'étanchéité qui recouvre les faces d'extrémité périphériques du panneau d'affichage d'image ; et découper la partie d'étanchéité tout en laissant une épaisseur prédéterminée à partir des bords périphériques du panneau d'affichage d'image.
