Abstract:
This air conditioner has: a plurality of load-side units provided with a plurality of load-side heat exchangers; a heat source-side unit provided with a compressor and a heat source-side heat exchanger which are connected to the plurality of load-side heat exchangers via refrigerant piping; a plurality of expansion valves connected to the plurality of load-side heat exchangers via refrigerant piping; a plurality of liquid temperature sensors which measure the temperature of a liquid refrigerant in the plurality of load-side heat exchangers; a plurality of gas temperature sensors which measure the temperature of a gas refrigerant at the plurality of load-side heat exchangers; a heat source-side gas temperature sensor which measures the temperature of the gas refrigerant suctioned into the compressor; and a control unit which calculates the superheating degree for each of the plurality of load-side heat exchangers and controls the opening degrees of the plurality of expansion valves. When calculating the superheating degree for each of the load-side heat exchangers, the control unit calculates the superheating degree by subtracting the measurement value of the liquid temperature sensors of the load-side heat exchangers to be measured from the measurement value of one temperature sensor among the heat source-side gas temperature sensors and the gas temperature sensors of the load-side heat exchangers to be measured.
