Abstract:
Disclosed by the present utility model is a stepped and slotted tri-mode wide-band antenna using a microstrip feed, comprising a medium plate, a hollowed-out metal sheet, an L-shaped metal microstrip, and an SMA head, the hollowed-out metal sheet being attached to an upper surface of the medium plate and the L-shaped metal microstrip being attached to a lower surface of the medium plate; the hollowed-out metal sheet is etched to form stepped hollowed-out slots; a vertical portion of the L-shaped metal microstrip extends to a long edge of the bottom portion of the bottom surface of the medium plate, and the SMA head is arranged on the medium plate at a position where the vertical portion of the L-shaped metal microstrip meets the long edge of the bottom portion of the bottom surface of the medium plate, thereby forming a first feed port; the hollowed-out metal sheet is electrically connected to a grounding terminal of the SMA head, and a feed terminal of the SMA head is electrically connected to the bottom portion of the vertical portion of the L-shaped metal microstrip. Compared to conventional slotted antennas, the present utility model may add a resonance mode so as to be able to produce three basic resonance modes, thereby achieving antenna miniaturization.
