Abstract:
(EN) An improved assembly for securing an implantable medical device for retrieval from an implant site includes a plurality of snares, wherein distal openings of a first snare carrier lumen and a second snare carrier lumen have a pre-set offset established therebetween. First and second snare shafts, to which first and second snare loops are coupled, respectively, extend within the corresponding snare carrier lumens such that each loop is located in proximity to the corresponding distal opening of the lumen. The pre-set offset allows an operator to simultaneously position the snare loops around the device; and, when the operator retracts the snare shafts to collapse the snare loops until the loops fit snuggly around the device, the pre-set offset can help to align the device for retrieval.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un ensemble amélioré pour fixer un dispositif médical implantable pour extraction depuis un site d’implant qui comprend une pluralité d’anses, des ouvertures distales d’une première lumière de support d’anse et d’une deuxième lumière de support d’anse ayant un décalage prédéfini établi entre celles-ci. Des première et deuxième tiges d’anse, auxquelles des première et deuxième boucles d’anse sont couplées, respectivement, s’étendent à l’intérieur des lumières de support d’anse correspondantes de sorte que chaque boucle soit située à proximité de l’ouverture distale correspondante de la lumière. Le décalage prédéfini permet à un opérateur de positionner simultanément les boucles d’anse autour du dispositif ; et, lorsque l’opérateur rétracte les tiges d’anse pour affaisser les boucles d’anse jusqu’à ce que les boucles s’ajustent de façon serrée autour du dispositif, le décalage prédéfini peut contribuer à aligner le dispositif à des fins d’extraction.
