Abstract:
(EN) An identification system includes a radar sensor configured to generate a time- domain or frequency-domain signal representative of electromagnetic waves reflected from one or more objects within a three-dimensional space over a period of time and a computation engine executing on one or more processors. The computation engine is configured to process the time-domain or frequency-domain signal to generate range and velocity data indicating motion by a living subject within the three-dimensional space. The computation engine is further configured to identify, based at least on the range and velocity data indicating the motion by the living subject, the living subject and output an indication of an identity of the living subject.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système d'identification comprenant un capteur radar configuré pour générer un signal de domaine temporel ou de domaine fréquentiel représentatif d'ondes électromagnétiques réfléchies à partir d'au moins un objet dans un espace tridimensionnel, sur une période de temps, ainsi qu'un moteur de calcul s'exécutant sur au moins un processeur. Le moteur de calcul est configuré pour traiter le signal de domaine temporel ou de domaine fréquentiel afin de générer des données de distance et de vitesse indiquant un déplacement, par un sujet vivant, dans l'espace tridimensionnel. Le moteur de calcul est en outre configuré pour identifier le sujet vivant, sur la base au moins des données de distance et de vitesse indiquant le déplacement par le sujet vivant, et délivrer une indication d'une identité du sujet vivant.
