Abstract:
(EN) A multi-modal functional OCT imaging methodology and system are provided that enable concurrent intrinsic optical signal (IOS) imaging of stimulus-evoked neural activity and hemodynamic responses at capillary resolution. An OCT angiography (OCTA)- guided IOS analysis is used to separate neural-lOS and hemodynamic-lOS changes in the same retinal image sequence. The OCTA-guided IOS data processing used for this purpose differentiates two functional images, namely. a neural-IOS map and a hemodynaniic-IOS map, from the same image dataset.
(FR) L'invention concerne une méthodologie et un système d'imagerie OCT fonctionnelle multimodale qui permettent une imagerie de signal optique intrinsèque (IOS) simultanée d'activité neuronale suscitée par stimulus et de réponses hémodynamiques à une résolution capillaire. Une analyse d'IOS guidée par angiographie OCT (OCTA) est utilisée pour séparer les changements neuronaux-IOS et hémodynamiques-IOS dans la même séquence d'images rétiniennes. Le traitement de données d'IOS guidé par OCTA utilisé à cet effet différencie deux images fonctionnelles, à savoir une carte neuronale-IOS et une carte hémodynanique-IOS, à partir du même ensemble de données d'image.
