Abstract:
(EN) Charge level control circuitry may be provided to calibrate a battery capacity. This circuitry may have power control circuitry to maintain the battery at no less than a target charge level, the target charge meeting an energy requirement of the electronic device. Battery calibration circuitry may also be provided in the charge level control circuitry to temporarily change a charge level of the battery between the target charge level and a calibration charge level, greater than the target charge level. One or more electrical parameters of the battery associated with changing the charge level of the battery are measured. These measurements may be used together with data corresponding to a characteristic function of the battery to calculate a calibrated battery charge capacity. The target charge level may be adjusted to meet the device energy requirement based upon the calibrated value. Corresponding systems, methods and machine-readable instructions may be provided.
(FR) L'invention concerne des ensembles de circuits de commande de niveau de charge servant à étalonner une capacité de batterie. Ces ensembles de circuits peuvent comporter des circuits de commande d'alimentation afin de maintenir la batterie à au moins un niveau de charge cible, la charge cible satisfaisant une exigence d'énergie du dispositif électronique. Les ensembles de circuits d'étalonnage de batterie peuvent également se trouver dans les circuits de commande de niveau de charge afin de modifier temporairement un niveau de charge de la batterie entre le niveau de charge cible et un niveau de charge d'étalonnage qui est supérieur au niveau de charge cible. Un ou plusieurs paramètres électriques de la batterie, associés à un changement du niveau de charge de la batterie, sont mesurés. Ces mesures peuvent être utilisées conjointement avec des données correspondant à une fonction caractéristique de la batterie afin de calculer une capacité de charge de batterie étalonnée.
