Title: ACTIVE ENERGY RAY-CURABLE INK COMPOSITION
Abstract:
Provided is an active energy ray-curable ink composition having excellent compatibility, post-printing hardness, and chipping resistance while maintaining adhesion when printed on an ink non-absorbable substrate such as glass. The active energy ray-curable ink composition contains an acrylate monomer (a) and a polyester resin (b), and is characterized in that the mass ratio of polyester resin (b)/acrylate monomer (a) in the active energy ray-curable ink composition is 0.25-1.5, the average number of acrylate functional groups in the acrylate monomer (a) is greater than 1 and less than 2, the polyester resin (b) is composed of a polycarboxylic acid component and a polyol component, the total amount of diol components having 3 or less carbon atoms in the main chain and 5 or less total carbon atoms is 80 mole% or less with respect to 100 mole% of the polyol component, and the polyester resin (b) has 1 mass% or less of a group having cleavage polymerization activity.
