Abstract:
A light-receiving array (10) has a plurality of light-receiving units (11) for outputting a pulse signal as a result of photon incidence, wherein the pulse signals outputted from the plurality of light-receiving units are outputted in parallel. A comparison unit (20) compares a trigger threshold with a response number, which is the number of light-receiving units outputting a pulse signal, and at the timing when the response number reaches the trigger threshold, outputs a trigger signal expressing the light reception timing of a light signal incident on the light-receiving array. A response acquisition unit (40) acquires the response number at the trigger signal timing, and outputs the same as intensity information expressing the intensity of the light signal. A delay setting unit (60) sets a delay setting value to be used to adjust the interval of time until the response acquisition unit acquires the response number from when the pulse signals are outputted from the light-receiving array.
