Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a three-dimensional object production method capable of producing a highly reliable three-dimensional object. The present invention provides a three-dimensional object production method for laminating a plurality of layers to produce a three-dimensional object, characterized in that the method involves a repetition of a series of steps including a layer formation step for forming a layer using a composition containing a plurality of particles and a joining step for joining the particles contained in the layers by irradiating the layer with laser light, the relation of Ds/D50 < 5.0 is satisfied where D50 [μm] is the average particle size of the particles and Ds [μm] is the thickness of the layer formed in the layer formation step, and the arithmetic mean surface height Sa of the layer in a state in which the particles are joined in the joining step is 15 μm or less.
